Marine Specialties I, LLC is Hiring a Sales Manager Near Gainesville, GA

Marine Specialties (“MSI”) has been a leading marine services contractor in Georgia and South Carolina for over 35 years. We represent the best brands in shorefront living and strive to provide our customers with peace of mind for their lakefront property. We are seeking an energetic and highly motivated Marine Product and Service Sales Professional to join our team. This individual should be a self-starter, familiar with small business practices and be excited by all thing’s lake front living.

Position: Sales Manager

Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of sales experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field (preferred)
  • Willingness to travel to client meetings and industry events.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish perferable

Responsibilities:

  • Educating customers on all MSI’s products and services and what makes us the leading marine services provider in the market.
  • Provide customers with quotes and negotiate sales prices that reflect the value of our products and services of our brand.
  • Manage and coordinate marine product and service crews to ensure all products are built and installed to the highest standards.
  • Develop a broad customer pipeline through a variety of external marketing activities such as boat shows, local events, and other external marketing efforts.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain deep positive business relationships with customers, vendors, team members and the lake community.
  • Responsible for estimating, sales, and scheduling of all aspects of sales for our Marine products and services.
  • Supply all necessary work orders, lead sheets, inventory sheets, and paperwork to crews to successfully complete the scheduled jobs.
  • Responsible for turning in all paperwork to the billing department.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the crews pertaining to your division.
  • Submit weekly sales reports, purchase orders requests for material/parts/services needed.
  • Any other jobs as assigned, not limited to the above.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in product sales and services.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • General Construction operation experience required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
